Tabla is world famous percussion instruments. It has great history and tradition. Tabla is very popular instrument. Youngsters are attracted by its sound and style of playing. Rich heritage and culture of this particular instrument is maintained by the Department of Tabla. This Department always busy  Prof. H.B. Hugar is heading the Department, Prof. M.S. Mathad is joining hand. Both them are very good artists and proud products of Sri. Veereshwar Punyashram, Gadag. With their hard work kept the department very active and alive. Interaction and seminars are conducted by the Department.
